One, two or three weeks
Seven, fourteen and twenty-one day policies, with four weeks available if you need the maximum.
Better value per day
A week costs roughly the same as two and a half single days.
Nothing to cancel
The policy ends on the date and time shown on your certificate. There is no direct debit and no renewal.
Choosing between weekly and monthly
One, two and three week policies are priced so that each extra week costs less than the one before. If you might need the full four weeks, the monthly page explains the 28-day option, which is the longest single policy we sell.
The standard excess is £500 (£1,000 for drivers under 25). You can reduce it to £250 with the excess reduction option at the quote stage.
Extras for longer trips
Breakdown and recovery, legal expenses cover, excess reduction and the European driving extension can all be added to a weekly policy. Each is a fixed price shown separately on the quote.
Cover applies in Great Britain, Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man. For trips of a day or longer you can add the European driving extension.

- How much is a week of car insurance?

- Can I buy weekly cover for a visitor from abroad?
- Drivers holding a full EU or EEA licence can be covered. Other international licences are not eligible on this policy.
- What if I need longer than three weeks?
- Buy the four week policy. It is the longest we offer, and you can buy another when it ends.
- Does weekly cover renew automatically?
- No. It ends at the time on your certificate and nothing is taken from your card afterwards.
